100% of Educators Report English Language Growth with A3K in Digital Promise Pilot Study

Nov. 30, 2017

Lakewood, NJ – November 30, 2017 – Achieve3000 announced today the results from a recent Digital Promise Pilot Study involving two League of Innovative Schools members that piloted educational technology program use with English language learners. The pilot conducted in Cajon Valley, CA, showed outstanding results, with 100 percent of educators reporting an increase in students’ English language acquisition after using Achieve3000’s patented literacy platform.

Data also showed that students who participated in the pilot demonstrated statistically significant growth on the LevelSet™ assessment embedded in Achieve3000’s solutions that measures students’ initial Lexile® scores and their growth over time. Overall, students in the pilot gained 2.5 times the Lexile growth of students in the comparison group who did not use Achieve3000 at all. Further, usage data indicated a correlation between high rates of use and increased student learning.

“The Cajon Valley Union School District is looking forward to scaling our partnership with Achieve 3000 districtwide. We are extremely pleased with the pilot, research, and results.  Smart, adaptive, and research based technologies for learning in the hands of the stellar teachers of Cajon Valley is a win for all students” declared David Miyashiro, Superintendent of Cajon Valley Union School District.
